Oils, 24" x 36". Painted in 1978. This painting won first place and best of show in a competition in my old home town. After the show the bank purchased it and it has been hanging in the bank lobby. I have reaquired the painting and am very pleased to have it back. I had been painting for 2 years when I did this. The background is glazes. The cowboy is standing in front of a camp fire with only portions of the face and clothes lite up to view.
