"Day at the Fair" by Sharon Repple 11 x 14
I decided to try using the lessons learned in Workshop39 on this scene. I tried to capture the glowing light on the stuffed animals, reflected light in the areas of shadow under the awnings and inside the booth, perspective drawing and figure painting as demonstrated in the video. I moved one of the figures on the left into the light as suggested in the video. Not my usual painting but I had a great time applying lessons learned. Thanks Richard

Good for you ! Taking this challenge and using it to create your own little happy place. A very complicated subject that you have simplified beautifully. I like the sunlight and shadow figures on the right side. His posture is so determined to make a good shot and his lady is slightly bored with the whole thing. She looks ready to find some lunch ! :D
