This ia very beautiful, Dor. I really like your colours, they give the painting a really nice and serene calm atmosphere. And i really like the loose way of painting.

Dor, your quinacridone gold is in the yellow orange family and is not be at all discordant, because it is very close on the color wheel to the burnt sienna and these two are opposite your blue and are the warms that can be cooled with cobalt blue.  A green would certainly be discordant.  Although you used very little quinicridone gold, it gives a very nice "partially cloudy day with the sun breaking through" feeling  to your painting.  But, never the less, this is a very nice "tonalist" painting with very good color harmony and an interesting composition with good recession through both color and value; it needs no discordants in my opinion.   Way to go amd smiles back at ya!    Stu

Glad you asked because  "you can have a discordant somewhere" It was a touch of Quinacridone Gold.  Smiles to you........dor:))

Dor, you did not mention a little yellow ochre in there (sun and clouds).  Nice work.   Stu
