Hello Cheryl, Diane, Casey, Ngaire, Laura, Stu, and Walda...........
Forgive me for not writing to each of you individually and thanking you for taking the time to look and to write your lovely comments. Time just got away from me this month.
Smiles and good wishes to each of you.......dor:))
You are so right. We all need encouragement to keep on improve. Painting is difficult. Anyone submited his or her work here are great as so much time, wesiden, energy and love of painting were involved. Only for these, I would like to click every one but I can't. I would disturb the order here. People kindly click mine only because they enjoy part of my work. It make me feel be rewarded. They are , like you, another reason that I am learning here. So, enjoy the clicks and show them more beautiful paintings to thank them. Smiles.... Li
Hi Li
I have painted over the top of this one. I hated it because the coloring (value) was all wrong on the mid to bottom right side track.......not my picture taking fault but my own painting! I just love your honesty........dor:))
So it amazes me when people have said they liked it! I think they were being kind because parts of it were good because I had finally toned down my painting.........!!!!
Dorian. I have a question. How did you foto your work? The right side seems much darker than the left. Is that what you designed ( for a late afternoon scenery effect)or something at the right side of your canvas stop the light?
Very good work Dor. Stu
The light in this is lovely
This is really lovely,Dor! I hope you are planning to frame it and display it on your wall.
good one Dor
