I second Stu's comment on Johannes. Stu introduced me to his classes in September and my paintings have improved immensely since then. Leaps and bounds, I'd say. The only downloadable class you really need is the Paint Stunning Landscapes from Photos. It covers everything.
But I really came here to congratulate you Stu for this WONDERFUL painting!!! It's lovely! LOVE the wet street and colors and light and mood.... Excellent work.... Bravo!
Thank you all very much. Before I posted this I had Johannes Vloothuis (www.improvemypaintings.com) critique it for me after studying with him in his online workshops for about a year now. For any of you who do not know who he is, check him out. His courses are fabulous and available through North Light. His online courses are quite different from Richard's. He helped me tweak this to make it much stronger in both the courses I have taken and in his critique the other day. Stu
The wet stuff is GREAT!
Love this painting! Makes a rainy day seem like a delight.
VERY nice detail work.
Wow, Stuart!!! Look at those reflections on the street! You made a sad running day so beautiful. Applaud!
Looks like you could touch the picture and get wet hands..Wow!!!
