Andreas, this is a good composition, well balanced with foreground, middle ground, and background.  Please be careful, though, to not fall into a  formula trap of painting trees.  I would suggest you study every characteristic of whatever tree you are painting.  Study the anatomy of trees and sketch them  to strive to capture their individual character and their species characteristics.  It is not easy, trust me on that, but rewarding.
