Well Silke - if I'd done it I'd have been extremely pleased with it!  Perhaps a small segment from the left trees could be lightened a little and placed just a tad in the background, like one hill fold over. The light and serenity in this piece is lovely and you should be very proud of it :)

Thanks for your nice commends. Sandi, you are right, that looks like a smile. Maybe it is me smiling about myself painting a picture three times without getting the result I wanted :-)

This has a lovely warm welcoming feel about it.  The smile of the trees in the centre mid-zone are a bit distracting. Makes me want to spread my picnic blanket and watch the sunset!
