Thanks Mario!
estupendo retrato !
Oh ok..got it. Thanks again! It takes another set of eyes to see things that we sometimes miss :)
Hi Adriana, I was actually referring to that small almond shaped light shape created by the flip of her hair in the back and the hard, straight line edge of the hair directly above it ...which really brings a lot of attention to that spot.
Wow-thank you for your lovely compliments Michael! The hard edge.. Do you mean by her earring?..oh yeah..Gotta' smooth that out..thanks Michael!
Adriana, There is much beauty and poetry in this portrait Your value and edge control are just great!! I will put this into my "learn something from this" folder on my computer!! I really envy you portrait artists!!! I do not look for something "wrong" with a painting or drawing, BUT, this kind of pops out at you ..you have a little shape at the back of her line that really draws your eye away from the focal point (face). The little almond shaped hole and the adjacent hard edge ..makes a too strong contrasty thing happening? I think the "sky hole" just requires a little toning down? Just a great portrait, and I think I am now motivated to take a life drawing class!!!
