"Fiddler's" Glen A.K.A. Paradise Valley

Here's my two cents. 8x10, oil on canvas board.
As always, C&C greatly appreciated!

I started thinking about Paradise and all our talk of "Fiddling" and thought of the Fiddler's Green Legend: It is a mythical afterlife (Paradise) where there is perpetual mirth, a fiddle that never stops playing (me and my brush!) and dancers who never tire. I changed it to Glen, because it is a valley.

Not wanting to celebrate reaching that "39" again with a party our daughters are sending me and their Dad to St. Petersburgh! This was a jawdropping surprise. not going until the end of august as visas and other red tape has to be arranged.

Hope you have a great trip. A bit of a coincidence I had a milestone birthday also this week.Not one i wanted to celebrate but I believe Im being sent off on a trip too Dont know the destination yet its a big secret.
