Helena, the only thing that I consider a little weak in your painting is the group of trees on the left side of the river. If they are close, they should be taller. If they are far away, they can be the height you made them, but they need to be cooler (closer to the color of the bluff behind them). The rest of the painting is very strong in my opinion. Stu

I really enjoyed your comments and if the paint has something that you did not like, I'll love to hear!
I also am just putting "like" only in the paintings that I really enjoyed it!

Helena,

Nice painting.  Your trees on the right are great.  Your river looks great, and your warm and cool variations on the distant mountains are well done.  Great job.  I am holding off on giving any likes until Oct. 21st as Richard asked.  But I really do like your painting.
