23cm x 31cm watercolour on Arches 300gsm. Feeling a little melancholy due to the loss from all the fires, the ephemeral nature of life, the beauty of escape and how the heated air creates lift so birds may fly, the beauty of reflections, how fire mimics life in the autumn colours, how the autumn colours can cause a fading sadness or an incredibly gladness in colour….
