Hi Roena,  Thank you very much for your lovely comment and thank you for looking at my paintings.  Yes, I paint in watercolour, acrylic and oils.  Sometimes when we are away traveling, I also sketch but I prefer painting.  I would love to catch up with your friend from Victoria.  Yes, Victoria is quite a long way from where I live and a station is a huge property much bigger than mine.  But we have camped on many stations when on holidays and traveling in the outback.  If you can think of your friends contact details, I would love to contact her and maybe we could catch up one day. :-)

This is wonderful!  Do you also do water color or acrylic or like to sketch?  I have a dear friend in OZ who would love to meet a fellow sketcher and WC artist.  I realize OZ is the size of the USA and you may not live close to each other at all (LOL), but what if you did?  They spent years managing a station, so you could relate to owning land.  I am trying to remember where she is exactly.  I think down in the part of the OZ where she is......in Victoria?

Thank you so much Olivia.  I'm so pleased that you like my paintings.  The outback is a beautiful place and I just love trying to paint it!  We are in fact heading away to this area again in July for a couple of months, so I'm very much looking forward to producing some more of these brightly coloured paintings.

You have nice ariel perspective in the colours of the distant mountains. If you don't mind me suggesting I think if you softened the edge slightly where the mountains meet the sky, so the line isn't so insistent, it would send them back further. You have a great sense of colour.
