I like painting flowers. I like the contrast between their softness, organic forms and translucency and the hardness, geometric forms and opacity or transparency of vases.

Very, very nice Michael!! ....I really love your brushwork ..and love those colors!!! :))   You know, I really like the way you let us "escape" from the vase into the background via that lost edge on the upper left of the vase.  I am aware of them when I paint and try to do it, but not always successful with it.  Nice job.

Your flower paintings are very distinctive & very beautiful!  Really like the brushstrokes on the table as well.
