I don't even know what kind of car this is, but I saw it with it's owner, and asked if I could take pics. She said it was her first and only car! (I think she was in her 60's). It's like family to her and her dog rides in the passenger seat. How she survives our very wet weather with her leaky old canvas top is hard to imagine! This is the most measuring and technical drawing I have ever done.
I might do a bit more covering of the underpainting on the closest fender. but I want to live with it for a while this way first.

Wow, thank you Saghi!
Thanks, Pandalana! That means a lot especially from someone who REALLY knows how to paint chrome and silver.
This is wonderful!!!
Thanks, Jessica, Cristina, and Michael. I've been reading "Alla Prima", and I'm taking a couple key points to heart from that book. 1. visualize what you are going for exactly 2. If the drawing doesn't look right to you, fix it right away. Those things seem so basic, but they really made a big difference in my last few paintings, I feel. I have SO MUCH to learn!!! It's just a good thing that it's fun along the way.
Wow!! :) This is great.
It's awesome!
Very nice job, Britt!
