No problem Michael, I am glad for the suggestions. My plan was to leave this painting and start another one using your suggestions and Richard's videos.  I took several photos while in the mountains and will work on one of them. I learn by hearing and seeing how others go about doing a painting.  So once again, thank you!

Hi Laurena.  After carefully re reading my comments to you about this painting, I realized that I was laying a little too much on you......I do apologize for that.  I personally would not go back into this painting ...leave it alone....but "file away" some of those things I suggested about value, edges, massing, repetition with variety,  and color ..for future paintings ...or paint another painting like this one.  ....
