6 x 6 Water Soluble Oils. This was a LPNM challenge, cropped the original photo to a square. Tried a limited palette of Cad Red lt., Cad Yel. lt, and Ult. Blue. Lightened with Naples Yel. and a little white.

Another case of lots of typing, and could not get the comment to work! Ana you are propably right! Hopefully, when I do mòre plein air I will learn these lessons from life (and not just rely on photos). First trip  out in our new travel trailer, end of the month, to  Arizona. Going to attend a workshop on palette knife painting when there with Barbara Mulleneaux!

Hi Candi, I like your palette in this painting and your impressionistic fields. I understand  from your representation that the hills are not far from the viewer but, I would consider to grey them a bit more especially the orange. To me, the value of the yellows and oranges in the hills are almost the same value as in the fields. It's only a suggestion, it can be left as it is if that is what you wanted. As Dor sais :"Smiles to you"!
