Another beauty, Tom! Enjoyed reading everyone's comments, Ann's for the emotional story, and Michael's for the technical and the others too. That intuitive thing? Well, bit by bit, (or brush-mile by brush-mile) we are all making progress, and wanting it to HURRY UP~ lol. I'm responding to the lovely, serene color in this one. What surprised me and really, really works is that fallen log. Typically I would avoid it lying across the creek, thinking it would take the eye out of the painting, even with the one branch to stop it, the log is a strong piece, yet you've made it work. The chunk out of it's side, the warm color slows me down and then, of course the branch pointing me into the depth of the stream and beyond. If this is your country, then you are blessed, my friend!

Gorgeous! In 30 years and with many hours of brushstrokes per day I may get to paint like that! :)!

Good Morning >>>Michael....Thanks buddy.....Its fun to read your comments, I think that when I am painting, allot of my choices at this time are more intuitive, ....than really thinking it out...Yes I did make choices...  somewhat conscious..but , I guess I paint more what feels right and look right in the context of the painting.....Thats why I love reading your comments on Your paintings, and other paintings.........Its like...wow... ok.........He is right on!!  Thanks again Michael.............and Keep knocking out the quality art!!!
