My favorite of your paintings, the warm color against the blue is striking. The 2 sunlite trees have a human quality. Friends that have come to see their good friend which has fallen in the forest and can't get up. They are discussing how to help him :D

Thomas, another beautiful painting! ...The brushwork is superb ..befitting the motif perfectly.  Your composition is obviously well thought out ..and I like the way you handled the focal area!!  I find it very interesting how we follow the rocks and the log and back around instead of following the river!! ...that was a very fresh idea Thomas .well done. BTW, your dark accents (of all things) really make the painting pop!
