Wow, Ann! Your fix really made the painting huge enhancement. The old version is beautiful too, but this one is really really beauttiful! The darks made the value more visiable now. Lovely soft edge all over the painting.

I think this is a very beautiful painting Ann!!   Your composition, values, edges . ..all work in harmony.

I love this Ann.  Your palette is great. The whole painting gels beautifully, you have achieved the broken colour aspect with great confidence.  Its got interest in spades and your sparkly bits of light, beautifully done ! :-}

The color in this photo are more accurate. The dot in the sky is a seed pod from our tree that landed just as I took the photo. I took Michaels advice and increased the value bu adding more purple shadow to the path and the shadow side of the foliage. I also added more broken color to all the grass, blues from the sky, browns from the dry trees etc. I like it better and I hope you do also.
