11x14 Oil on Panel, Plein air Gilroy Garden. I must qualify my "plein air",I did the block in and started with the sky when it started to rain so I packed it up and finished it up at home. I did have the opportunity to talk with Stu and Laura which made this rainy painting session well worth it !

Thank you for your encouraging comments Jessica and Pauline. I appreciate your encouragment
Gosh Ann, my plein air outings never get that exciting! This painting is really nice despite all the challenges you faced. I love your spotlight and the way that you have conveyed the inclement weather....Well done!
This is a lovely painting, Ann, despite all the challenges you faced that day!!!
Michael We wish you could join us also. I would love to watch you create from scratch in plein air mode. The day at Gilroy was supposed to be painting demos in the Garden with 9,000 people attending. But we had a rainy adventure instead with Stu getting up early to do rounds before driving and locking his phone in the car. I also had adventure because the security pulled me over and gave me an escort because he thought I was trying to sneak in. Then the rain and no people to demo for. All included in the fun of plein air painting !
I wish I was not so doggone far away ..so I could join you guys!!! :)
Thank you Linda,Cristina and Ruby for your encouragement. I am trying to get myself out and about to paint but I find it a little intimidating. I just am trying to be brave and not worry about success each plein air experience.
lovely!!
So moody, nicely done Ann!
Thank you Laura and Michael. Welcome back Michael.
