10"x12" oil on board. Glazing excercise.
I found this very difficult, not having a soft brush, but a great learning excercise. I can see where it could be useful to highlight some parts of a painting

I agree.  And sometimes there are hidden surprises & beauties in those brushings unseen and unintended when first painted--and late when looking....ahhhh..  The water has nice grayed color in it that gives the feel of water at sunset.

Nice glazing job & your foreground is interesting & looks like a large farm on the lower right of the picture.

Very nice glow to the sunset and I also like the hoizon, with the various forms there.
