45" x 28" watercolour on Arches 300gsm

Occasionally in life we catch glimpses of amazing things. Sometimes it is just a glimpse of ourselves in a window or reflection, and sometimes we get an insight into ourselves that is unexpected. Others may also be getting that glimpse of ourselves. And in the hush of the forest, in the sibilant whisper of the snow, we just might be lucky enough to glimpse something wild, share a special moment with a creature threatened and possibly not long for this world.
These glimpses can affect us on a profound level, creating ripples throughout our life.

Hello everyone, sorry I've been away so long, have been holding a workshop and completing commissions.

Pauline, thank you so much.

Hello Ana - I love using salt for texture, there's no end to what it can do!

Diane - thank you so much :D

That salt technique is skilfully done. Such a gentle painting on such a rough subject!!!
