Golden Gate Bridge Sunset (A)

This painting shows the Golden Gate Bridge from the Marin side looking toward San Francisco. The Sun is setting, which enhanced the orange color of the bridge. The fog has blocked the view of the City and covered the South end of the bridge, which is not unusual for San Francisco late afternoons, especially during the Summer.
This 12x16 inch acrylic painting was done with artist quality paints on 140 lb watercolor paper bonded to an MDF panel. The finish was several coats of gloss medium/varnish.

(just if you are eager to share it, I'll understand if you don't!!!! - and I won't get upset-!!!) Ihave varnished one, and it shines, but I just can't take a decent picture!!!!
