I like this painting, and I think you did a great job for your first workshop.
I have the same problems, blending to much and loosing my edge and fibrant colors. When I'm not happy with a painting I take a black/white photo, to see where things are wrong, it helpes a lot. Looking at your painting in the mirrow is an other great thing, or holding your painting upside down. I hope I dear to join the next workshop, I am inspired everytime I see al those beautiful paintings, but doubt of my own ability.

Dana, I do like your painting-I like your shapes and the meat of the orange is very good. The color compilation is good. ---- Some points I would suggest is.---- Place the orange in foreground to the side instead of in center---Maybe not blend as much but use your brush strokes to block in variations. All in all I like your work.----Looking forward to more. BTW, I'm not accomplished. I feel I need to improve everyday. So glad to be your friend.

I took another pic with the camera on the tripod but my painting still looks not very good.  I've got a long way to go.
