Tables were set up on the pebbly beach outside this taverna - people were swimming behind us & boats were docked in front of us. Tried to capture the golden glow the sun was casting on the water. Didn't include the wasps which were the only drawback in this idyllic scene!

Thank you very much for such encouraging comments, Candi & Michael!  There were actually 2 chairs at the table Michael - one is hardly visible!  The taverna staff were busily moving tables & chairs further & further down on the beach as the evening went on & the swimmers were leaving - this one was positioned for a good view of the bay.  While my husband & I waited for our meal, I had time to take lots of photos.  I was glad they put this table in such a good spot for a painting!

Jessica, your  painting tells a story .....that is what is called .. visual poetry.  A lonely table with one chair ....the mind begins to ask questions.  You know, very nice job on creating harmony and unity with your warm dominance ..even the blues are warm!!  ..very nice job on that!!  Okay, pretty good stuff!!!! :)
