Hello Fay, thank you so very much....well the palette is my usual beloved Indigo plus French Ultramarine, DS Bloodstone, and a touch of titanium white and DS Lapis Sunlight.
I chose the granulating pigments so I could wash lots and lots of water through repeated layers to get the "rivulets in the sand" look, all done wet in wet. My floor may never be the same again! No salt this time, I was sorely tempted, but it is so very wet and humid here, the salt just absorbs water from the air and the paper won't dry!
Sandi - another amazing painting - congratulations. Your limited palette - can I guess? Prussian Blue and Burnt Sienna? Have you used salt to get this amazing result? You really are an amazing artist and I really love your work.
