I agree with Michael.  It is such a pretty painting, I love the colors, but the rock are too black.

My husband "lost" his camera.  It mysteriously showed up after replacing it with a highly superior (more expensive) one.  ; )

Very nice Jon!!! ......your reference photograph is lying to you though ......!  .....make your rocks warmer ..and not so black.  Utilize some edge lighting and atmospheric perspective on the rocks.  Everything else looks pretty nice!!!:)
