Stuart, I am so happy to have your approval. Thank you for all your help and suggestiones. I have never been in Wet Canvas yet, will try.Johannes is another wonderful teacher. I am not quite often watching his teaching. When I watch his class , I want to hand him a glass of water from my computer as he teaches such a long time and with all his heart and soul. It moves me. But, I know so well, no matter how many good teachers there and are ready to help, I have to paint more and feel them in order to melt the concepts of our teachers into my canvas. There is no other way unfourtunately.
Stunning painting Ningning! Beautiful contrast of warm sunny colour with lovely shadows & I like the touches of pink in the sky. Just took a look at the photo - even more impressive when I see you original subject!
Wow, Li! This came out just great. You have mastered painting buildings. I want you to post this on Wet Canvas Live and get Johannes to critique it for you; show him what you learned in his "Essentials of Painting Buildings" course and on your visit to his studio. Dorian and Sharon, Thank you for paying attention to my work.I am so happy that you enjoy it. Yes, I was attracted by its abstract patten of light and shadows when I passed it. And it lured me to paint it. I did not hand in my workshop19, as I met some difficulties to finish it. Luckyly I still have some time to do the workshop20. I hope that I can finished on time and join you having fun.
Love the abstract quality of shapes of light and shadow across the building
You have found your niche! I think that is the correct word! LOL : ))
