Beautiful work Jim!!! ...  very nicely designed..... especially the left side.   You actually have 2 paintings, Jim ... the left with the dark tree and houses, and the right with the orange tree, animals, and red building.  Both paintings would be stunning.

Yes, I think lightening it would give better atmospheric perspective  - maybe also if it's not a straight line it would add interest?

Jessica that purple shape in the background is my attempt at a mountain in the distance. I think it should be lighter. Thanks for your comment.

Wow, what a fantastic painting - I agree with everyone!  Such an interesting scene, all beautifully done.  The only tiny thing I wonder about is the purple shape in the centre back - not sure what it is?
