I see what Michael is saying here Linda.  We have a local artist in Bath his name is Ben Hughes, he has just put out a collection of painted shop fronts in Bath,  he has cleverly made the edges of his painting disappear into nothing which concentrates the eye on the main subject.  You may like to have a peak at his recent landscapes you can find him under his name Ben Hughes Art......

A nice mood created with the subdued colors Linda.   Be aware of your curved ramp leading OUT OF THE PAINTING with no way to return.  If you want to return us back into the painting, then put in a jetty of rocks out there somewhere going from the left edge to the right.  That will make us go back in that direction ..back into the painting.
