My humble version of Sargent's work (all slices)

I did this painting for the love of Sargent's artwork. Unfortunately I came too late and couldn't participate in the wonderful painting project created by Richard Robinson.Great concept and I feel so sorry that I can not be part of it but I am so glad for you artist friends and I wish you all good luck!

Tough job but another great experience.

Very encouraging artwork! You have an unbelievable talent in figurative and portrait painting. I also like the color harmony of this wotk. Bravo!

Good for you to challenge yourself with this lovely painting ! You captured it, well done. All that grass with its many shades of green makes me dizzy to think about trying.

Beautiful work!!   You really captured the essence of the Sargent painting.  ...you even captured that "I would rather be somewhere else" look on the women's face. :)

Thank you so much John for the kind words!

The size is 9inX12in and it took me about 2 days.

Hi Carolyn and thank you for the wonderful comments and suggestions, much appreciated!

I know I have to work more here and there, there are a few more things that I would like to change.

The size is 9inX12in.

Excellent! What size is it and how long did it take - looks like a fair amount of work?

Wonderful, Cristina! Much more difficult than I would want to attempt at the moment.  Lots of detail, a whole spectrum of color and portraits was well. Big project to replicate. Looking at it closely, it seems his hand is a bit out of proportion, as in too small and narrow. And he looks a bit thin, but his very bored wife (you captured that one!) looks very close and correct. Great job overall, what size is the painting?
