Oils on Stretched canvas. 15in x15in.
Local gull found in the Atlantic Ocean. 'Brown Hooded Gull'. It's a really funny looking gull with a great expression!! It seems to be a cartoon.... but it isn't!!

Adorable, love his expression! I bet you had lots of fun painting this cute guy.
Good to see you back here, Silvana! Super painting - all looks great, the gull, the reflections, the water - and I like your amusing title too!
I know what you mean .. taking photos of my paintings is a crap shoot for me!! :))
Thanks a million Michael!!! It's always a pleasure to read your critique!!! :) :D :). The pic was taken by my son, and we couldn't stop smiling at their unique expressive eyes!!! We bought a slightly better camera with which obviously the close up is much better and you see things that if not it would be impossible to see. I must admit that I am enjoying that myself a lot! What I still haven't learnt much is how to take pics of artwork with it....
Wow Silvana .. this is really good!!!! I very much love your lost and found edge work on the gull ... very nice! In the reference photo, note the warm reflected light bouncing up into the bottom of the gull .. don't forget to put that in .. only if you want though .. it looks fine the way it is! Great painting, a big "Like" from me!! :)
:) Thanks Pauline!!!!
What a lovely painting, loving the bubbles a very polished work Silvana :-}}
