I've been taking a break from landscapes and thought that I would paint an oil of some Peonies that were given to me. From memory I might add as I have been incredibly busy these last few months.

Hi Sarah.  This is pretty cool!!   I love your dominant high key value plan and just the overall simplicity of your design!!  Your calligraphy marks really adds to the spontaneity of this piece.  Well done!!   A note to everyone:  I think this is a good example that a "rule" can be broken with success ...the 3 flowers and leaves are equally spaced and the same size ..BUT ...it does not deter from the big picture!!! ..in fact ..it helps!!  ..and I do not even know why.  Great painting Sarah!!!
