Hi Joy, I see what you mean! The buildings were put in last as an after thought! They are much too defined now I look at them!
I'm pleased with the foreground although it looks a bit heavy and takes over rather a bit! I have suffered with the balance of the composition, mainly because the texture of the tissue paper made beautifully defined twigs in the hedgerow and I allowed them to take over a bit!
Thank you for your comments, it is good to see a painting through other peoples eyes! As I have said before, I know that the balance is off a bit and any help regarding how to rebranded it would be gratefully received!
I just wish that I could paint like Richard all of the time :)

The tissue is certainly giving a great textured effect. I love all the colours you have in the foliage.

I might darken the  path in the bottom right corner Just a suggestion!

This is a meadow scene painted in oils but on top of tissue added into acrylic gesso for texture. All comments gratefully received :)
