Water based oils on canvas10"x12"
I was given some very good advice on this site re warm and cool shadows etc and thought that I had better try it out! I'm glad that I did :)

nice carnival effect, great lighting on the canopy and the woman in the foreground, and the street!

Charming painting ! I like the way that the light and dark shadows on the pavement lead to the focal. Your little flower stand adds a great detail to the painting. It says  stop and enjoy a cup, smell the flowers and do some people watching !

Very, very nice Sarah! ....the painting is alive with light.  I love the sparkling light at the focal point!!!! :)  The figure in the foreground now works perfectly!! ..good job.
