the 7th tulip from left to right has a casted shadow from the dominant tulip to it's right... that simple detail is the apex of this painting from my perspective. great ... great

You got it, Ro.... go with the flow! Totally! I do plan my composition and somewhat plan the color ideas... but the sky's the limit! Thank you, again, for your encouragement! You have a good evening too! Blessings, Ginny

I was going through your gallery again. This is one of my favorites of yours. I was sure I had already commented because I have this in my favorites already. HUM? So, as I was studying this painting I could see the primary and secondary colors. Those same colors are what I used for my Majestic Canyon. Amazing the difference when a more pure color is used. Do you plan your colors or just squirt out and start. You make it look so easy, in my mind I see you just going with the flow. Some of it too is the great smile in your photo. LOL I was looking at my Sandra's Iris Picture and then wondering about watercolors and flowers. Long story short........that is how I ended up on your gallery again tonight. I wanted to look again at your beautiful WC flowers. Well, have a good evening. Ro
