Thank you so much Ginny for the comment on my Sydney's Magnola. I appreciate it very much. A bit stiff compared to your lovely work that I dream to be able to do, but it was trying to learn the Flemish Technique. I still am working on that a bit. Ro
Good morning my happy, smiling face friend. I just found a photo of a row of red cactus that I took a few years back. It reminded me of your tulips all in a row, and that reminded me of you! I just thought I would wish you a nice day. Ro
How wonderful that you have expanded your showing area to 2 more places. I am very proud of you and of your beautiful work. Speaking of color swatches.....just checking....R U aware of Richard's Gamut Mask? It places different shapes on top of color wheels. Everything showing within the mask is susposed to be colors that go well together. Have you seen that? I saved it to my desk top. I know how busy your are (good, good busy), but save it to your desktop to look at it later. http://www.livepaintinglessons.com/gamutmask.php Roena OH, I did a "color" painting yesterday of colored blocks. I am still not mixing my colors correctly - per instructions in the class - but the painting looked OK and 3D. Will post that after I make some very minor changes. Nice to hear from you my friend. Ro
(Do you hand make your boxes or use "mirror boxes" from a moving company? They a were a correct size for my paintings when we moved once. )
I'm just popping by to see if you had anything new that I might have missed. What R U up 2? Have any on the easel? I painted a color painting (been doing those gray scale for so long) of 6 blocks stacked up with a gray background. They are colorful! It was an exercise in the color course, but as far as correctly mixing the colors I did not do that. Some how I just can not get my head to undrestand and be able to actually do it the way the class instructs. I may just have to move on in hopes it sinks in later on down the road! /// Give me a shout when you have time. Roena
