Thank you two Dorian and Britt. I loved painting this crazy face :-) And I'm thinking about some day making a photograph ofmy face with that same expression, but looking in from the right. Painting the portrait an hang them next to another. That would look really funny!

Yes, he could act quite crazy and I think loved to play with the image of the crazy artist. It was fun copying this for-portrait of him. Some proportions i did not get 100 % correct, but the main expression is there. So I was content. Doing portraits is really a difficult job. And from life its even harder as I could see yesterday when I tried drawing a self-portrait - uuhhh!

Love the expression of his face ! He is exuberant  and a little crazy just like his paintings
