Thanks Paulo, I've only done 3 portraits so far and I want to learn all I can. I will certainly take your advice as to colors.

Ivory Black, Cad Red Light, Yellow Ochre Pale, and Titanium White are my base skin colors. I cooled down the warms in the light with Cerulean Blue and Viridian Green for that just-shaved look. The green of the shirt asked for a drop of Phthalo Blue and the background has some Alizarin Crimson. Cheers!
Nice skin tones, what colors did you use? His lower chin look great like he just shaved.
