:-) I have another "project" going on too that is totally different. I am painting our wall (around the arch) with faux stones, using acryllic paint. I seldom use a brush for that, rather use rags, sponge, fingers. I will make a photo of that. It was actually hubby's idea, for him I could paint the whole apartment... :-) So now there are little islands of paint tubes, rags and stuff like these around the apt. :-)

Lady, you have a great artist mind! You dont limit yourself to "proper" tools.....try anything! Great! Experiment is the best. I keep thinking the people who figured out some unusual technique that makes the most beautiful paintings......the ones that hold you attention because you can not figure out how in the world they did that! They just had to have "accidently" done something that worked. Keep on experimenting as you might just discover something that will make you famous! whoooo hoooo. Hey, small is good too. Small tucks away in those little spots that need something! Ro

I was started as something, had no idea what it would become. I just took a really small board :-),and started to experiment, using hands and later on not palette knife but a normal kitchen knife :-) and when I saw the little yellow "hole" in in the middle of the picture, then the picture started to make a shape. So it is really small :-)

This is really nice. I too love to paint with a palette knife. They just do a different kind of blending than a brush can. To me, I would want this painting to be 30" x 45"! Really, really big. he he Ro
