hi Michael, thanks for your comments on my Lemons in Blue Dish.  You are dead set correct with what you say and I am aware of it, - I even thought of making two paintings out of it but it's difficult to cut into two due overlapping.   I'll really have to watch my compositions (among other things) - keep on with your feedback please, it is much appreciated. Hi Glenys.  The elements of your painting are painted very well!!! ...a beautiful job on that.  The "problem" here is that EVERYTHING is given top priority ...everyone is the star of the show.  You actually have 2 paintings here ...one being the flowers and lemons, the other being the lemons in blue bowl and the vase.  I would like to commend you again on your handling of each element ...just beautiful!! :))

Nice painting of the yellow cloth and lemons. I like the painting as a portrait format from the mid-right side
