Thanks Christina!:)
Delightful!!
Thank you Silvana! I'm glad you can tell!:)
That texture looks really great! It's a wonderfu effect!
Thanks Laura! I really enjoyed painting it. Now I just have to try and get a decent photo of it (without a glare). It's hard for me on a piece this large. Yes, thanks again to Michael for explaining the underwater technique. Like I mentioned, I'm eager to try it! :)
Jennifer, this is a beautiful painting and I enjoy looking at it so much!
Michael, thank you for sharing the technique on how to paint objects under water.
Thanks for taking a look Michael! I am going to try the techniques you explained here but might have to come back for more instruction. Thanks!:)
Hi Jennifer ...everything looks fine Jennifer ....I just thought that you would be interested to see how to make them go deeper into the water ..if that is what you wanted. Looking at your larger photo, your edges are good for where the fish are. Beautiful movement and very peaceful.
Thank you Michael! This one is done and I'm actually happy with how it looks. I was just posting on here for my album, but I appreciate your input. I found all of my resource photos of koi were in very clear water that looked like glass. I guess I could have made some deeper. My main focus was the movement and I also wanted it to have a surreal feeling of "zen" to it. I guess I could have softened some of the edges a little more though. Thanks! :)
