Nice painting Jane. Composition and value structure are excellent. One small point though: your lonely green bush on the right catches my eye and pulls me out of the picture. It looks like it's sitting right on the beach (II know that it's up on a little bluff like the tree, but that isn't clear in the painting); you might darken the sand a little more under it and desaturate your greens in the bush to make it less discordant. Or you could just paint it out; you don't really need it. Stu
