Acrylic on Canvas Paper 9x12"
I decided to try a different composition for the broken color study and follow the Robert's instructions. And that's what happened ... For me it is unusual and new paint technique so I found by myself all mistakes of beginners brushwork (I found later under Workshop13). Any comments welcome.

Thanks, Michael for comments. Maybe, you are right. I just started to paint from Richard's paint, but after saw his original picture, that was looking differently... so, just made a little bit wrong composition and wrong value and color. I'll keep in mind for a future your notice.

Hi Larissa.  Be careful of your values ...the background mountain is much too dark and the mountain on the right abruptly ends at the tree.  Your darkest dark and lightest light should have been at the focal area (the tree).  You then judge all of your other values from those extremes.  Something to give thought to on your next painting. :)
