Learning Points:
1. Trying to get used to using lighter colors and varying intesity for contrast.
2. This is a challenge for Daily Paintworks. The challenge in "citrus" . But, I have done so many oranges and lemons lately, I wanted to do something a little different :)

I think your treatment of various textures could also be included in your learning points? BTW, you have 2 things that you did that were very good: you have a nice counter change going on with the left edge of the meringue, and you let the light "escape" from the left edge of the yellow ..onto the plate! ..very well done.
