Thanks, Michael. I"ve been looking at my old paintings - they fall into two categoires - those which were starting to get somewhere, but needed more work. Those I worked more on, and ruined ... oh well, :)

I like this version.  Your foreground grasses have a good pattern and relate to the composition better.

yes, think I like this one also better than the other Jon. I haven't done this one yet. Not sure if I will or find a photo I have taken myself of snow. Well done.

Hi, Ian,, Linda and Silvana! Ta for commenting! Yeah, it IS a tough one, I expect someone will come up with an original take on it... I was going to it again with the man-made objects smaller, but I've moved on to two coastal scenes I'm doing...
