Little Gold Creamer and Blueberries
5x7 inches. Oil on board.

I wanted to do another one that shows just how small this cute little creamer is.

Learning points:
1. Light to dark, dark to light
2. Lost and found edges
3. Value
4. Color theory
5. Painting gold
6. reflections and shadows
7. Composition
8. Painting from life straight onto the canvas without sketching.
9. Learning how to use my new camera and get the settings right...not easy. This one is a little bit darker than the original and I could not make it right in photoshop.

I think you did a lovely job here! I really like how the berries are partially hidden.
