Dirk, your landscapes are wonderful. You have that nice loose style of brushwork that Richard has...one that I somehow can never quite get. Congratulations on this month's win. Your painting is so strong and yet has such a clean simplicity about it. Somehow I missed it during the vote. I never did see the slide show and had to pick through the gallery. Your's definitely would have received my vote.

Lovely work - I like the sweep of the composition through to the back and the simple approach has left me nicely wondering what is back there in the trees.  Also you have captured some great crisp colours - almost like a spring morning.

Estuary at Shipwreck Beach in Mallcoota. This little scene just caught my eye as i was walking to the beach. The Beach is amazingly beautiful & i'll heading back there for sure. My main aim here was to try & bump my chroma up working with a warm & cool primary pallette.
