Flowers seem to set me free ...thanks for all the nice comments. This is the first time I used a palette knife so much. Roses are so difficult. There is a lot of scratches in and marks in the paint to simulate thorns Thomas !

Given that title i would have painted the thorns.
The colors and strokes describe the rose so well. The painting touches me.
