#8 Daily Painting for 365 Paintings in 365 Days

From a wonderful photo from photographer Ray Wheeler. This was a fun quick painting. I think in the future I would like to do a more thorough and larger one of this.

Thank you Pauline!  Thank you Michael!  I enjoy getting suggestions from you.  There were several learning points in this one.  The main one is learning how to do wildlife better and especially fur without blending too much or too little...still struggling on that one.  Another one was the grass.  I am working on using a very limited palette and larger brushes.  I used the Zorn palette:  Ivory Black, Cadmium Red, Titanium White and Yellow Ochre only.  The smallest brush I used was a number 10 round.  That is a great idea and I will post what I am working on for my learning point when I post these.

Great painting Pandalana! Beautifully rendered wildlife.  BTW.  I would like to suggest to you that when you do your daily paintings, pick a LEARNING POINT for that day and apply it to your painting. ....I guess you are probably already doing that ..but just in case.
